Privacy Policy — GA4 Ecommerce Tracking Inspector

GA4 Ecommerce Tracking Inspector is a browser extension designed to help users audit Google Analytics 4 ecommerce implementations.

During an active audit, the extension observes network requests made by the website being inspected in order to identify GA4 events and their associated parameters. This may include page URLs, GA4 property identifiers, event names, ecommerce parameters, item data, timestamps, and other parameters contained in GA4 requests.

Audit data is processed locally in the user's browser and stored using Chrome's local extension storage. The extension does not transmit captured audit data to Nuno Barreto, external servers, advertising services, or other third parties.

The data is used solely to provide the extension's ecommerce tracking inspection and reporting functionality.

Users can clear or restart an audit from within the extension. Uninstalling the extension removes extension-local data according to Chrome's normal extension storage behaviour.

The extension does not sell user data and does not use captured data for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or purposes unrelated to its core functionality.
